Do you remember the 2000 movieChocolat? The Gypsies live on the large
river barges. The barges are decorated
with blankets and pillows and everyone
is dancing and singing until...
the barges unfortunately catch fire.
Anyhow, I've been in the mood to create my own
backyard barge (hammock) scene, with
lanterns and candles, quilts and plush pillows.
I'm going to do a trial run this weekend because
the weather is supposed to be superb.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
I've had my friends save glass jars for me
so that I can make little tea
lanterns out of them, similar to the ones in the pictures
from Anthropologie.

such a dreamy idea! i think i'm going to break out my "party" lights and mason jars sometime this weekend. can't wait to see how yours turns out!
