Another City Adventure...

Tomorrow I leave for New York City.
The last time I visited that great city
I was about 7 years old. We had
been visiting my aunt in
New Jersey. I remember piling into the
back of a big station wagon with
all of my cousins. This was the
type of station wagon you could sit
backwards in. Remember those?
And, who knows if we were wearing
seat belts or not. Yikes.
Anyway, I remember climbing to
the top of the Statue of Liberty,
viewing all of the city from the top
of the Empire State Building too.

I'm really excited for this trip
because I get to enjoy it with
one of my favorite people...(Heart).
He will be working part of the time
and so during that time I plan to walk about
enjoying the atmosphere and
hustle of the city.
I promise to share my adventure
with you on my return.
Until then...

Wow the big city. Since I lived there a couple of years ago, can I suggest some cool places. Definitely visit central park and get the roasted cashew nuts, yummy. The best restaurants that are not too expensive are in Little Italy. If you have time, go to Fire Island by Long Island and get some homemade ice-cream. They don't allow any cars on that island. Oh, there are so many cool places. I miss it like no other. Have a great time. The people are nice and make sure you get a metro map. That lets you know how to get from A to B. Call me if you have any questions. I know a lot of people that live there.
