If you FEEL the NEED to GIVE...

The Southwest Washington Humane Society is pleased to announce that an anonymous donor, who offered a dollar to dollar match of up to $500,000 at the SWWHS Dinner and Auction cash appeal, has extended their offer until December 31, 2008.

With $125,000 still needed in order to meet this challenge, now is a great time to double the amount of your donation! I did :)

SWWHS hopes you will consider helping reach this goal, as the funds are essential to the successful construction of their new animal shelter.

SIDE NOTE: A couple of years ago I was a volunteer at the
Southwest Washington Humane Society. I thoroughly enjoyed
working there. However, there are SO MANY animals
that come to the shelter each day. There are so many sad stories,
but also many happy ones as well when animals are
adopted by loving, caring people.
This new animal shelter is SO NEEDED.
This new shelter will help brighten the lives of
the animals as well as the workers and volunteers.
Please take a second to look in your pocket or
coin purse this Christmas season to see
if you have any extra to give. I know it will be
GREATLY APPRECIATED. :)
